Kim Stringfellow Talk at LACMA

Photographer Kim Stringfellow presented an informal lecture  at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in December 2009 in conjunction with the New Topographics exhibition. Kim discussed how the influence of the  New Topographics movement of the 1970s has informed her current photographic practice. Michael Dawson Gallery is pleased to host a book signing and exhibition with Kim Stringfellow on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 to celebrate her new book, Jackrabbit Homestead: Tracing the Small Tract Act in the Southern California Landscape, 1938-2008 published by the Center for American Places.
